Best choice for video card

Hi

Would some kind soul please tell me which video card to put in my
new machine (which is still in the planning) that will Debian Woody
and Gnome X out of the box? 


Some seem to have trouble with NVIDIA, but my technician wants to
use an nvidia TNT 2 32 MB AGP video card. 

Someone help an old fella?
