Yes RAM disk support (CONFIG_RAMFS)

Linux caches most of disk access on unused memory automatically. So no
need if you have free memory.

Check High Memory Support (CONFIG_NOHIGHMEM) during kernel recompile;
Linux can use up to 64 Gigabytes of physical memory on x86 systems.
