The answer seems strighforward : some of the object files and librairies were compiled for IA64. Of course you wont be able to get them to work on your IA32 box. I guess, you dont have the source of this compiler, only librairies and object files ? -- I'm an occurence of the I love GNU virus. Please help me spread.
