Definitely no arguments there. After I switched to Debian I've had no

Mostly the changes are just minor things (obviously, since it's just a
patchlevel difference). One of the things tripping up my management
scripts is that the filenames are apparently different under debian
2.9p2 (authorized_keys2, known_hosts2, etc) than they are under 2.9.9p2.
Since the scripts run on multiple machines, I would have to hardcode the
difference, since the ssh2 config files don't let me specify what file
names to /generate/, only what file names to /read/. (Which makes sense.)
Yes, I know /some/ files can be overriden with -f and so forth. That still
means I would have to make hardcoded changes to scripts; these need to
run identically on both Debian and non-Debian.
I'll probably just build the openssh 2.9.9p2 from source and play with it.
If it works well, should that be reported to Debian?
