Re: JPEG or GIF background in fvwm?



It's really not related to your window manager, although various do
provide a way to set it.  The easiest way to deal with it is to set it
via your ~/.xsession file before you invoke the window manager.

You can use any one of:
        xv
        xsetroot
        xloadimage
        display
        wmsetbg
        esetroot (although I wouldn't)

And probably more than a few others.
