no. I forget the library it needs, it's in the documentation. you CAN use win32 dlls for divx, but it's not required, and is actually being phased out of the project all together

You have to compile it from source, but it's worth it. The best media solution around in my opinion. Plays mpegs, avis, divx files as well


Does it require Microsoft Win32 DLLs to play divx files?
