I'm not really an expert on this topic,
but I heard that you need 2.4 kernel, and glibc compiled against 2.4
headers.

AFAIK , glibs in debian is comiled against 2.2


But that only something I heard mentioned.  Don't take it as the
ultimate truth, and I would like for someone else to confirm this
please .
