The configure option --enable-shared is on by default, and thus probably
is broken someplace along the way.

I'm running sid, and I already have qt
ii libqt2-mt 2.3.1-6 Qt GUI Library (runtime threaded
version).
This is proving rather frustrating :(
Any other ideas, anyone?
