Hi Again, Ah. Ok. Maybe it is a package dependency problem then, because when I do a 'dpkg -p aptitude' I show libncurses5 as a depends for aptitude. Do you have libncurses5 installed? What does the above command show on your system? I imagine you probably got it straightened out by now though.
