Hi,
Apart from alsa-config you need
alsa-driver-0.5.10b.tar.bz2
alsa-lib-0.5.10b.tar.bz2
alsa-utils-0.5.10.tar.bz2 and install them in the same order.
check out the ftp://ftp.alsa-project.org/pub/driver/ for
newer versions.
