Get kernel and apply flavour patch Copy current config to .config make menuconfig to configure make-kpkg for compile dpkg -i for install > 2.4.2, but make-kpkg barfed on the modules, and, well, apt-get > installing kernels is just so much more convenient. :) Debian default kernel is only for install, I think.
