I think it isn't so.
Almost all CDs in our shops are non-licension pirate copies.
And have the same price. ;)
So, there is no difference between free and non-free soft when You
buying CDs here.
But Unix && Linux came in xUSSR not much time ago. (I mean _seriously_
came.)

I tried to run windoze programs under Linux with help of wine. But
only simpliest of its runs correctly (such as notepad). Others run
strange and unstable.
Maybe I did something wrong? Is wine a really good-working windoze
emulator? I had many problems trying use it. :(
