FWIW, these lines are from /home/pann/.slrnrc (potato)

hostname "ourmanpann.com"
set username "pann"
set realname "Pann McCuaig"
set replyto  "pann@ourmanpann.com"

You might want to look at

/etc/news/slrn.rc

and

/usr/share/doc/slrn/examples/slrn.rc.gz
