Heh, a nitpickfest. Some bioses have a menu option where you can set
this button to power off immediately or to power off if it's held down
for a few seconds (otherwise it does a suspend) etc. Award does it, for
example.

OP should get into bios setup and check -- and/or rtf motherboard m.
