Re: silence of the alsa-lambs

    Hello,

apt-get install aumix
Run aumix and set your volume in console mode, or an xterm.
Play your music.

fail?

Check your connections to the sound card. start playing your
music with high volume and go from one jack to the next until
you discover your SPEAKER jack. IIRC the sb16 didn't indicate
what was what.
