I've got Open Sources (January 1999) on my bookshelf, and found it an
interesting book.

There is also Peter Wayner's "Free For All", a book "that explores
Free Software, the history, and where it's going". I don't know any
more about the book, but a link to a review has been sitting in one of
my Slashdot sidebars for a while, so that may be the one Mithras is
thinking of.
