i've tweaked some of it already and it's wonderful
to be able to do so! you can sign up with your email
address and make changes -- BUT there's not much
peer review before any changes are committed, so
i'm still in favor of getting newbie volunteers
together at http://eGroups.com/messages/newbieDoc
so we can rub each other's eyeballs over the dox
we create before 'releasing them' to the world.

speaking of which, it'd be nice to have a venue
to release them to -- maybe we should look into
linuxnewbie.org or similar? i've got a site at
http://linux.serensoft.com/ but it's not god much
to offer, and will have a hard time building a
following...
