Hmmm, I thought about something like this, as well, but since some of the ISPs here in Germany are neither really stable nor reliable, I'm having at least three or four of those configured on my box, and those errors happened with *each* of those, sometimes...
Yeah, and we'll better not speak about their helpdesks, I just looked at the FAQ of one of those ISPs once, just to find out questions, like "Where to click to finally dial up in Windows 98?" and I knew before that I wouldn't find any valuable information, there. :)))
