The more I think about this, the more I agree with you. I think I'm
disagreeing about the way to do it. Instead of just saying "post the
output of 'cat /proc/foo | grep bar'" finish it off with "so I can tell
if baz is happening." But you're right: it is annoying when people
won't help you help them.

Mmm. Taking out hits on idiots. (Said in best Homer imitation.) It
warms my heart a little too.

Don't keep them to yourself. The nice thing about having a good manual
written is being able to say rtfm when asked the questions (i.e. a
pointer to your website or wherever you've published your answers.)
