Re: Adding sound card ?

If it is the old non-pnp card, I have the same one.

In menuconfig, select Sound, OSS Sound modules, 100% Sound Blaster
compatibles.  This is for 2.2.16.  I think the menu selections were a
bit different for some earlier kernels.

If you select Y,  you will see where to enter the parameters.  If you
select M you need to specify the parameters when you install the
module.  The defaults worked for me.

I've always ran it built into the kernel.  I haven't tried sound as a
module, but that should work also.
