go look up bugs on ssh in the BTS:

important bugs - outstanding

   (List of all such Bugs is available)
     * #51747: ssh: can't handle expired passwords; 215 days old

the bug is release critical so hopefully potato will not be released
unless this is fixed.  

but to answer your question no it is not possible with ssh ATM.
