Note the underlined part above. (Searching for packages wouldn't help,
surely?)

Search for libdb.so instead; you'll find that libdb.so.2 is in libc6 on
slink, so you'll either have to upgrade to potato's libc6 (which may
mean you have to upgrade other things to potato too) or recompile the
program from source against slink's libc6-dev.
