mail server wishlist
Hi Debian users,
I have exim mail server installed in a Debian machine and want to know
how to do the following:
I need a mail server that can on a per-user basis:
1. Take a message local generated or received from SMTP To e-mails in the
localdomain and To people in other domains and divide this message in a
message only To people in the localdomain an a message only To people outside the
localdomain.
example of Message:
From: a@localdomain.com
To: b@localdomain.com , c@localdomain.com , x@otherdomain1.com
Cc: d@localdomain.com , y@otherdomain2.com , z@otherdomain3.com
After de processing of the mailer he will generate 2 messages:
- The first Message only To people in the localdomain
From: a@localdomain.com
To: b@localdomain.com , c@localdomain.com
Cc: d@localdomain.com
- The second message only To people in other domais of internet
From: a@localdomain.com
To: x@otherdomain1.com
Cc: y@otherdomain2.com , z@otherdomain3.com
2. Reject mails To outside domains returning a error message to the sender.
Reject mails From outside domains returning a error message to the sender.
3. Reject mails with size greater than a especified size. This size will vary
among users.
But all of this on a per-user basis, because some users will have none of the
restrictions above and others hill have all or some of them.
Can I do this with exim? Or another server mail?
I want to know too if I there is an Anti-Virus that can scan my
/var/spool/mail for virus (windows virus) that I can install at my Linux box.
Much thanks for any info, Paulo Henrique
