Have a look at the equivs package. The other programs should find
your programs as long as you have them in the $PATH. In the worse case
you might have to provide symlinks to the right place (but if $PATH
is correctly set that won't be necessary).

Download the Contents-i385.gz file for a list of all files and which
package they belong to (so you know where to point your symlinks).

("man ln" for symlinks.)
