You need to be careful of onboard sound, and especially video.  
Some AGP cards aren't supported by X, and won't work properly.  I 
had a pII/III board that had an SiS 6326 AGP card, and even though 
the 6326 was supported, it was the 6326 pci that was supported 
and not the AGP version.  You need to know the chipset of the 
onboard video if possible.
