Didn't change anything. Here's what my provider script looks like:

ABORT BUSY 
ABORT "NO CARRIER" 
ABORT VOICE 
ABORT "NO DIALTONE"  
ABORT "NO ANSWER" 
#"" ATZ 
"" AT&F1&D2&R2 
OK ATDT9400039 
CONNECT \d\c 

I commented out the ATZ which was the default and put in the one that
works fine under DOS/Windows but it didn't change anything either.
