nfsroot (fwd)

Got this message from a user...I'm unsure since I've never exported root
via NFS to diskless clients. If anyone can help him, please reply
directly to him rather than to me :-) Thanks!

hello,

i've read on a discussion list that the nfsroot package
is your friend. have you managed to use it? have you
rasped it successfully to work with newer distribution
issues? would you be so kind as to mail me your version?
Actually i'd like to use it to make a debian 2.1 (slink)
remote bootable. In deed is works a bit for me but there
are too many errors during boot and finally it cannot spawn
something.

   thanks in advice,
