To be more explicit (so your bookmarks will be saved),
mv bookmarks.html a.safe.directory, like /home/yourusername
(or cp -r bookmarks.html /home/yourusername)
then
start netscape in your account,
then
mv bookmarks.html /home/username/.netscape
(which is created again, after you start Netscape in your account).
