I'm pretty sure that I completely deinstalled gcc272.
root@penny:/usr/bin # ls -las egcc* gcc*

that seems strange, let's see what happens...
hmm now it works..... I don't understand where did that gcc.orig-gcc
came from, but putting that as gcc instead of the old one worked.
