I checked 0.98... which worked much better than 0.16, however it still

You propose 0.99 from potato..
I'll check it - is it linked with glibc 2.1?
As for now I installed a source which showed some strange errors in syslog
(start sl0:....) which as I heard are OK.

Which I haven't got, so it isn't the problem.

Funny thing. Masquerading works perfect when I connect with ISP by wvdial.
The problem came up when I decided to switch into diald.
I can't make it to accpet any of my packets.
