I agree with you there, I upgrade just to upgrade. I'd rather feel that way
about software than hardware though, hardware tends to be a tad bit more
expensive :)

Slink it is then. About how much stuff will there be for me to download to
get things up-to-date (easily!).
Also, do you know of any other mirrors for the latest X packaged so I can
get it with apt? I can't seem to connect to the netgod site...
