I find kfm is really nice. One thing I'd like to see added would be a
'status bar' so you know (there abouts) how long the download will take.
I do have one big problem with kfm tho and thats that it doesnt understand
how to work with URL authorization yet. Try to login to a restricted area
of a site.. It cant yet. I do hope this is being worked on tho :-)

btw the message you do get is as follows:

 Authorization Required
 This server could not verify that you are authorized to access the
 document you requested. Either you supplied the wrong credentials (e.g.,
 bad password), or your browser doesn't understand how to supply the
 credentials required.
 Apache/1.3.4 Server at www.somewhere-out-there.net Port 80
