Well, I do it because I have problems booting from the 2nd hard drive,
which is where my linux / resides... I therefore have lilo installed
in /dev/hda and set up to dual-boot either /dev/hda1 (win) or /dev/hdb2
(linux). It may not be the right thing to do, however it has always
worked flawlessly for me.
