I did 
grep -i netelligent /usr/src/linux/Doc*/*
and got (for my 2.2.9 Kernel)
/usr/src/linux/Documentation/Configure.help:  Devices currently
supported by this driver are Compaq Netelligent,

/usr/src/linux/Documentation/Configure.help:# LocalWords:  SCB STATS
Thinnet ThunderLAN TLAN Netelligent NetFlex tlan james

The kernel Documentation is 'always' the best place to look for this
kind of information.
