Re: ESDI PS/2 MCA

I am going to be installing Debian on a PS/2 in the very near future, and
I did a quick boot with the 2.0 rescue disk and it seemed to find the ESDI
controller alright and the hard disk, to some degree. I can't atest for
how well it will boot because I only have 4 meg of ram and, needless to
say, the boot process ran out of memory. Have you tried just booting with
the 2.1 rescue's default kernel?
