Try this:

$ zcat /usr/man/man1/bash.1.gz | nroff -man | col -b

or, if the man page is not compressed:

$ nroff -man /usr/man/man1/bash.1 | col -b

Of course, replace /usr/man/man1/bash.1.gz for whatever man page you want to
print.;-)
