Thanks, but that doesn't really help me at all. It would simply mean
disabling routing. This won't get me anywhere.

Well, in my case they definitely are related. Without working routing tables,
I actually wonder why part of the network is still accessible.

I would love to file a bug-report, If I only knew it is a bug at all, and, what is
more, what part of the system is responsible for it. I do not even know, if
the kernel is to blame at all.
