There are pre-release packages avaible at
http://master.debian.org/~branden/xfree86-3331/. If you're using apt, add
the following line to sources.list:
deb http://master.debian.org/~branden/ xfree86-3331/
If you aren't using apt, you should be, it's great.
Note that:
a: These are prerelease. They may contain bugs (and probably do, though I
havn't run afoul of any. Also, they are potatoified (libc6 >= 2.1), so if
you're using slink either upgrade or do without.
