Probably cfdisk crashes. Try partitioning "by hand": Start a shell,
run fdisk manually and partition your hard drive. Then you should be
able to ignore the "Partition a Hard Disk" point.

I wouldn't say you can not, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to. X
with 8 MB of RAM is really not very useful. And you 120 MB of hard
disk space might not even be enough to install everything that is
required to run X ...
