Samba question: file out of sync.
Hello,
I have a linux box on which Samba is installed and share A is output to the
network. I also work in my other PC running on Windows 98, which uses files
in the share.
The problem is if I edit a file on the Linux box, I can not see the change
on my Windows box. It seems Windows has a local cache and when I open the
file, I am reading from the cache instead of the file on the Linux box.
I had set "strict sync" and "sync always" parameters to YES in
"/etc/smb.conf".
The related question is what do you recommend if I want to work in two
computers but on the same set of files?
TIA
Jian
