After reading some of the comments, I realize space on the installation
floppies is a premium. How about a blip in the standard installation
instructions for making a man floppy (like you make a boot, root, or base-x
floppy) and state that this is optional for man pages. The installation
routine could ask if you have the optional man pages floppy and install it
if that's the case.
This way, the beginners have their man pages at the cost of one more
floppy, and the old hands can skip the extra step.
