Re: bash problem - cannot telnet to my box
Same thing happened to me yesterday. I thought I screwed it up somehow so
I didn't say anything. If I try to log in, I get the issue, then it drops
the connection. I still have a login up from a workstation at work and
monday I will try to get in and fix it.
Here is what I get when I attempt to log in:
Debian GNU/Linux comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY, to the extent
permitted by applicable law.

You have new mail.
Connection closed by foreign host.
It all happens very fast.
