I got the same problem with this network card, and compiling 2.0.35 did
not help. I finally got the latest test version of 3c59x.c from the
author, and dropped that in the kernel tree. Check out the archives
from this list, I posted my question `3com905B cyclone not working'
this month, Lars Steinke's response helped me out. If you want, I can
email the source I used to you. Note that you need to use the 3c59x
driver, not the 3c90x one which would seem more logical looking at the
names.
