Re: NIS not working anymore :(



How did you add the users? Did you add them on the local machine or did
you add them on the NIS master and push the new maps out?

If the new users appear AFTER the:

+:::::::

( note that this is for example only, the number of colons is probably
wrong)

Then you will never see them. You will need to ensure that the user
entries appear BEFORE the +:::::: entry.
