Im still getting troubles with quake2....:

I know , but i have troubles with .tgz or .tar.gz game-files for linux.
None of these files want to run in my system. So ,at least, i want to
make one work....

Thanks, i modify the /etc/quake2 file and now quake2 said:
Added packfile ./baseq2/pak2.pak (42 files)
couldn't exec default.cfg
couldn't exec config.cfg
Console initialized.

recursive shutdown
Error: Couldn't load pics/colormap.pcx
what is this error?? How can i fix it ???
