Re: Having problems compiling a kernel



I had the same problem last night when I tried to compile on my laptop.  You
need to install one of the ????-dev libraries.  For example look above the
error.  The library I was missing was ncurses-dev.  This should fix your
problem for make menuconfig, and maybe the other.
