 This happens sometimes, and sound keeps looping. With 2.1 kernel
 series I can get away without rebooting with magic-sysrq keys, so
 it is not that hard lock. What version of Mesa and Quake are you
 using ? 

 Hmm. is 3.15 packaged yet ?
