The reason it says for OpenLinux is that Caldera has permission to
distribute it with OpenLinux on CD (presumably in .rpm form).    There was
a staroffice4 installer in either hamm or bo (IIRC), but it is not there
now.

You can easily install it by copying the tar.gz file (huge) to /usr/local,
running tar -xzf <filename.tar.gz> and following the directions in any
README files.  I assume it's linked with libc5, so make sure that is also
installed.  I ran it in bo for a while and it worked fine, although I
noticed that the display font sometimes made it hard to see if there was a
space between words.
