   All right, John.  Please, please, tell me how to get Netscape going
when it complains:
"locale C not supported" and about the "$XNLSPATH" not being sufficient
to find the config files.
and/or
"the gimp: error in loading.../usr/lib/libgdk.so.1...undefined symbol:
XListInputDevices"

    ...got any ideas?

Art, bringing up a petty difficulty so he can find more bugs sooner
in hamm.  ;-)

PS  Bruce says he's o.k. ...he's o.k. and he's going to take care of
him, his wife and his little baby to come.  If one of us gets happier,
we should all be happier.  ;-)
