RE: allow mount to normal use



The simplest and most direct solution is to add "users" to the list of 
options for each filesystem that you want your users to be able to mount 
(in /etc/fstab).
So, your cdrom entry might look something like:
/dev/hdd                /cdrom          iso9660 noauto,users   0    0
